On June 1, 2023, Karl-Bernd Fangmann starts as co-managing director of Hellmann Poultry GmbH & Co. KG alongside the long-time managing director Marzellus Hellmann.

He continues: “In order to make the change as smooth as possible, we will share the management responsibilities in the coming weeks. As co-managing director, Karl-Bernd Fangmann will have the opportunity to get to know employees and the company in more detail and to familiarize himself with the day-to-day business before I officially retire from management on October 1.”
After more than 30 years with the company, 22 of them as its managing director, Marzellus Hellmann will remain closely associated with the company after October 1 and will continue to work for Hellmann Poultry in a consulting capacity in the coming years.
“I am very pleased that we have succeeded in recruiting someone for the company management who is not only a poultry specialist, but also comes from the region and can clearly identify with our company values”, Marzellus Hellmann says of his successor. Karl-Bernd Fangmann is 37 years old and originates from the Vechta region. After completing a work-study program at Big Dutchman and receiving his degree in business administration, Karl-Bernd Fangmann has worked for Big Dutchman in different positions for 17 years.
